The "Third Series," which was part of Gurdjieff's original intention, was never completed. It was to be read in groups which had become familiar with Gurdjieff's other writings over the years. Therefore, it is uncertain whether this is among the "core books" of the teaching. Nevertheless, it bears careful study.
